I've said it before, but the colours you choose say a lot about your brand. The world's biggest standardised colour matching system, Pantone, thinks so too.

Pantone advise companies on colours for product and brand visual identity. Since 2000 they have announced a colour of the year, a trendsetting concept for branding and marketing. Their colour of the year is always accompanied by a statement expressing the values they feel the colour stands for.

The 2020 colour of the year is classic blue, which Pantone says instils confidence - a solid and dependable blue hue. No wonder then that huge social media companies like Facebook have chosen blue to represent their brand.
