TESTIMONIALS

When we're investing in an important purchase, we all prefer a recommendation. Confidence plays a huge part in a consumer's decision whether or not to use your business. According to Nielsen research, “92% of people will trust a recommendation from a peer, and 70% of people will trust a recommendation from someone they don’t even know.”

Testimonials and customer reviews can be a really valuable asset and Wix has a number of ways to accommodate them within your website.

They also offer insight on how to gather and leverage testimonials in this blog post:

Three quick ways to use testimonials:

On Your Website

Your potential customers are vetting your business via your website. Testmonials could just be the final deciding factor. Be creative - try Wix's new transparent video or use a lightbox for more impact. Link product reviews to relevant sections of your site.

Emails

Think how many emails we send and recieve! So why not consider including a customer testimonial in your email. It can be as simple as a picture of your product and a one line review as part of your email signature.

Social Media

Get it out there - use canva.com to quickly create a graphic with your logo and a testimonial, then post it up on facebook or instagram. After all, it makes a change from all the Covid-19 messages. Make sure you use a great picture to catch the eye. You could even target your audience with facebook advertising.

Good luck and if you found this post useful - please write a review!
